Use a 50/50 breadcrumb/berley mix and scrunch it into the cage. lasts a big cast and 5-10 minutes in the water. berleys up right where your bait is. the 3 and 4oz ones are perfect for berleying up when surfcasting

these fishbites stay on the hook longer than any bait Ive seen due mainly to a teflon kind of mesh runing through the centre of the bait. I use a 1cm cube on a 3/o and it catches just about anything. other folks like larger strips or the fight club baits for bigger fish.

Ive caught my largest snapper, moki, trevally, gurnard and kingfish over the last 18mths using fishbites in conjunction with pilchard, skipjack tuna and crayfish. Ive also done a few trips with only fishbites and caught some nice fish.
