NEW ONLINE SHOP PORTAL

NEW ONLINE SHOP PORTAL

Check it out at www.petelambfishing.com

If's an exact replica of our physical shop in Rongotai using the same point of sale system - Vend Lightspeed.

I've still got to do some reorganizing of categories and add alot more pics and info but its up and running with secure payment systems taking all the major credit cards, bank transfer and PLF gift vouchers.

regards, Pete

Best fishing season ahead

There have been a good number of snapper caught by surfcasters after dark recently, from South Raumati up to Waikanae and beyond. Wellington Harbour’s also been firing with some nice trevally and snapper around Eastbourne and through Evans Bay, around into Seatoun. Good reports of moki captures (and ones lost) have come from the Kau Bay area.

For boaties, snapper fishing around Makara and Mana has been good but sometimes hard to get onto. Tarakihi, trevally and gurnard have been a bit more common with a few (big) blue macks as well. Snapper and trevs in the harbour have also been on and off in pretty good numbers. Kingies are all over the place.

At the moment there are plenty of hapuku around in the deep with snapper, trevally, tarakihi and gurnard inshore and most other species mixed in for good measure.

On a 6hr trip we can go south to Makara or north to Hunters bank and sometimes out wide for hapuku. Its generally an inshore fishing trip but we are happy to go deep if everyone on board is keen.

Our 4hr trips are mainly around Mana island and Pukerua bay. There's good numbers of snapper, trevally, tarakihi and gurnard with the odd kingfish, jd and blue mackerel as well
